This 5-bedroom home in ChampionsGate Resort holds up to 12 guests, under 20 minutes from Disney, with a private pool and spa looking out over the lake. The spa is the part the adults wait for: once the kids are asleep, the warm water and a quiet deck are the closest thing to a night off on a park trip. Two king masters and five bathrooms mean two or three families travel together without a morning queue, and the themed kids' rooms give the children a space of their own. The open kitchen and living room run straight out to the screened pool deck.

Guest access

Guests have the entire home, the private pool with spa and the BBQ to themselves, plus full access to ChampionsGate's Oasis Club: the water park with lazy river, resort pools, fitness center, arcade and sports courts.

The neighborhood

ChampionsGate is a gated golf-and-water-park resort off I-4 (exit 58) in the Davenport area. Distances by car: Walt Disney World (Magic Kingdom) 13-18 min, Universal Studios 25-32 min, SeaWorld 22-28 min, Orlando International Airport (MCO) 30-38 min, Walmart 3-6 min, Vineland Outlets 18-25 min.

Getting around

A car is the practical way to reach the parks and move around, with free on-site parking and direct access to I-4 for Disney, Universal and Tampa. Rideshare such as Uber and Lyft works well for nights out without driving.
